In November, 2022 a young woman named Kayla Hammonds was violently murdered by her abuser in front of her 2 daughters. Proceeds of purple paintings like this will be donated to the Southeastern Family Violence Center and Robeson County Rape Crisis Center.
This painting was donated to a local high school student for her fundraising efforts to play at Carnegie Hall.
This small mural was painted in the Home Store which provides clothing vouchers to community members experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, natural disasters or release from incarceration.
